Access – Dignity – Belonging

Attainable Housing

Safe, stable housing is the foundation of a healthy and thriving community. In the Snoqualmie Valley, many residents face rising housing costs, limited rental options, and barriers to long-term stability. The Attainable Housing Working Group is led by Jen Kirk from Reclaim, and was created to bring partners together to understand these challenges and build coordinated solutions that ensure everyone has a place to call home.

Our Purpose

The Attainable Housing Working Group convenes service providers, housing advocates, local leaders, and residents with lived experience to identify gaps in the housing landscape and develop strategies to address them. By combining community insights with shared data from our Navigation Program, we are able to see where needs are growing and where system changes can create the greatest impact.

What We Do

The Coalition is led by A Supportive Community For All, a 501(c)3 organization that was formed in 2021 to provide backbone support to organizations working together in innovative and transformative ways to make human services more accessible. As the lead organization, A Supportive Community For All’s role is to guide partners towards a shared vision, provide training and coordination, serve as fiscal sponsor, and build capacity for our partners to practice equity leadership skills in their collaborative and individual work.

  • Analyze local housing needs and trends using real-time community data.

  • Strengthen relationships with housing providers, landlords, and emergency shelter partners to expand available options.

  • Coordinate across organizations to reduce barriers to stable housing, including financial, legal, and transportation challenges.

  • Advocate for policies and programs that increase affordable and attainable housing throughout the Valley.

  • Elevate community voices to ensure that solutions reflect the lived experiences of the people most affected by the housing crisis.

Why It Matters

When community members cannot access or maintain housing, every other aspect of their well-being is affected, from health to employment to education. By working together, we can create a more resilient and inclusive Valley where families, young adults, seniors, and individuals of all backgrounds have the opportunity to lay down roots and thrive.

Our Vision

A Snoqualmie Valley where housing is not out of reach, where stability is possible, and where every person can find safety, dignity, and belonging in the place they call home.
