Caring for our Community
The Snoqualmie Valley Human Services Coalition is a growing group of human service providers, faith communities, medical and behavioral health providers working together in new ways to connect community members to the human services and other resources they need.
Collaborating across multiple organizations requires a commitment to building shared values and a culture that practices equity leadership skills, embraces learning, fosters resilience, and embodies community-led governance. We spend a significant amount of time attending to these areas because we believe they are critical to effectively meeting the needs of our community.
We believe that working together to be more coordinated and improve access to the key resources our organizations’ provide, widely understood to be social determinants of health, will contribute to the greater health and well-being of our community over time. Further, the centralization of referrals will allow us to aggregate and analyze data across the region on demographics, the efficacy of the referral, how long it took to fulfill, and other data points that can paint a fuller picture of resource provision in our region – and point to where there are gaps and opportunities.

Much of this work is informed by our comprehensive Community Needs Assessment, which offers a detailed look at the strengths and challenges within the Snoqualmie Valley and helps guide our collaborative priorities.
The Coalition is led by A Supportive Community For All, a 501(c)3 organization that was formed in 2021 to provide backbone support to organizations working together in innovative and transformative ways to make human services more accessible. As the lead organization, A Supportive Community For All’s role is to guide partners towards a shared vision, provide training and coordination, serve as fiscal sponsor, and build capacity for our partners to practice equity leadership skills in their collaborative and individual work.
Working Groups
To better respond to the most pressing needs in our region, the Coalition has launched four community-driven Working Groups. These Working Groups bring together service providers, local leaders, and residents with lived experience to identify barriers, share knowledge, and coordinate solutions that strengthen the health and well-being of the Snoqualmie Valley.
Each Working Group meets regularly to review data emerging from our Navigation Program, listen to community feedback, and collaboratively design strategies that improve access, safety, and opportunity for all. Their work reflects our belief that meaningful change happens when the people closest to the challenges help shape the solutions.

Navigation Program
The Snoqualmie Valley Human Services Coalition is a growing group of human service providers, faith communities, medical and behavioral health providers working together in new ways to connect community members to the human services and other resources they need.
The Coalition’s primary area of focus is the Snoqualmie Valley Referral and Navigation Program, which provides centralized access to human services in the Snoqualmie Valley. Community members may call our shared phone line or request that a partner organization submit a referral to the program on their behalf. The referral is directed to Case Managers at A Supportive Community For All who serve as “navigators,” connecting with the community member to gather information about needs and then assign referrals to partner organizations that are best suited to meet those needs. The navigators track referrals to completion and provide advocacy and case management support as needed. We are currently using a shared online platform, Julota, that enables partners to better coordinate with each other in service to community.
Attainable Housing
The Attainable Housing Working Group focuses on expanding access to safe, stable, and affordable housing throughout the Valley. Members collaborate on identifying gaps in available housing, barriers to long-term stability, and opportunities to align resources across organizations. The group works to elevate local housing data, strengthen relationships with housing partners, and advocate for policies that ensure every resident has a place to call home.

LGBTQ+ Rights & Safety
The LGBTQ+ Rights & Safety Working Group is dedicated to supporting, protecting, and uplifting LGBTQ+ residents across the Snoqualmie Valley. This group works to improve access to affirming services, respond to rising safety concerns, and foster welcoming environments within schools, community organizations, and public spaces. Through partnerships, training, and community-led initiatives, the group strives to build a Valley where every LGBTQ+ person feels safe, valued, and supported.
Community Shield Network
The Community Shield Network brings together partners who serve immigrant and refugee community members to identify safety concerns, legal and language barriers, and culturally responsive supports. Members collaborate on improving access to trusted services, building bridges across cultural communities, and advocating for systems that honor the dignity and contributions of immigrant families. The goal is to create a Valley where everyone, regardless of origin, can thrive.

Food Security
The Food Security Working Group focuses on ensuring all residents have consistent access to nutritious, culturally appropriate food. In partnership with local food banks, farms, faith communities, and social-service organizations, the group works to understand supply gaps, coordinate resources, and advance community-based solutions to hunger. By strengthening the local food system, this group helps build resilience and ensures that every household has what it needs to live well.
